Mitzvah Day 2022

Mitzvah Day 2022 is scheduled for November 6th 2022. Temple Aliyah Community Outreach is excited to see you and your family this year as we organize events that give you the opportunity to contribute to the community in unique and fun ways!

Below you can find examples of the events that were available for the community during last year's Mitzvah Day. If you are interested in joining the planning committee for Mitzvah Day please contact our Director of Community of Caring Lisa Cobey Lopez via email at or by calling (818)-346-3545 ex. 240

Activities From Mitzvah Day 2021

All activity stations will be outdoors. All ages are invited to attend. Everyone 12 and older must be fully vaccinated. Masks must be worn at all times.

Blood Drive

We're joining forces with Cedars-Sinai and Shomrei Torah for our Mitzvah Day blood drive, November 7th, 8:30am - 2:30pm. You may leave your child to participate in an activity station while you give blood. Supervision is provided by adult and teen volunteers.

Bracelet Making for Save a Child's Heart

SAVE A CHILD'S HEART saves the lives of critically ill children suffering from heart disease in countries where access to pediatric heart care is limited or nonexistent. Through bringing children to Israel for medical care, performing missions abroad, and training medical personnel, they are bringing hope to families, communities, and countries.
