SOVA
“SOVA” is a Hebrew word that means "eat and be satisfied." Much more than a food pantry, JFS{SOVA provides free groceries and an array of supportive services to over 9,000 individuals of all ages, ethnicities and religions each month. We collect non-perishable food and toiletries for SOVA throughout the year with specific drives over the High Holy Days and prior to Passover. Temple Aliyah has a permanent SOVA bin in our Galleria donated by the Sokoler family where items may be dropped off at any time. Visit: jfsla.org/SOVA for more information
